Tai Chi Private Lesson

Private Tai Chi lessons offer a calm and focused space to learn at your own pace.
Each session is designed around your body, your goals, and the way you naturally move.

Learning Tai Chi One on One

Private lessons offer the most direct way to understand Tai Chi – through individual attention and personalized guidance.
Every person carries unique patterns of posture, movement, and energy. In a one on one setting, these can be carefully observed and refined, allowing for a deeper experience of relaxation, alignment, and awareness.

Sessions begin with the basics: simple movements, natural breathing, and how to stand and move with ease.
From there, the training unfolds according to your own rhythm, whether you want to explore Tai Chi as a meditative practice, as physical training, or as a traditional martial art.

What to Expect

Each lesson is adapted to your level, background, and goals.
For a detailed overview of what the Chen Tai Chi system includes — from foundational exercises to the classical forms — visit the Chen Tai Chi System page.

A session may include:

  • Standing Posture & Posture correction and natural body alignment

  • Silk reeling (Chan Si Gong) and energy flow exercises

  • Form training from the Chen style tradition

  • Breathing and stillness practice to calm the mind

  • Applied Tai Chi (partner work, self defense principles) for those who wish to go deeper into martial aspects

Through consistent practice, you begin to feel more balanced, stable, and aware — both physically and mentally.

Why Private Training Works

Private Tai Chi instruction allows space for detailed correction and individual progress.
Subtle adjustments can make a big difference: when posture, structure, and breathing align, energy can move freely, and the mind naturally settles.
This creates not just technical improvement, but a real shift in how you experience your body — calm, grounded, and awake.

Many students find that even after a few sessions, daily movement feels lighter and more connected.

For Whom

Private sessions are suitable for:

  • Beginners who want a clear and personalized introduction

  • Intermediate practitioners seeking correction and refinement

  • Martial artists or athletes exploring internal mechanics and softness

  • Anyone recovering from stress, tension, or postural imbalance
